An artist ready to end other artists’ slumber

Concerts must be organized again on his own initiative, without waiting for invitations from other organizers. This is what has been declared by Cedric Bangy, a Burundian singer as he talked about his new projects and initiatives.

In a message that he posted last Friday, the musician announced that he planned to wake other singers up, calling them for hard work and personal projects rather than expecting to participate in other people’s events. Moreover, Bangy says that he envisages to organize concerts not only locally but also abroad, beginning by Kigali if bilateral relations are to improve between the two countries. Although his supporters encouraged him, some of his fellow musicians sound critical and ironic about him.

We should remember that this happens after Cedric got the third place in the elections to lead the AMB, a process that he judged unfair.
