This wednesday, 20 July 2022, the Rwandan artist Social Mula has landed in Bujumbura. As his first visit to Burundi, the artist said he felt happy to be in this beautiful country for the first time.
Asked about burundian musicians, he said that their particularity is their “understanding of what music means“. He comes for a concert to be performed soon where he will meet the famous Burundian singers such as Big Fizzo and others.
On the invitation of Dicobu, he thanks them for having thought about him, an opportunity that came through the Burundian musician Don Brighter, who won the recent Dicobu AWARD 2022 for the singer of the year for the Burundian diaspora in america.
According to the representative of the Dicobu, two more concepts are planned in coming days with more musicians from abroad, be it Tanzania and elsewhere. He added that expanding horizons and partnerships is a priority in order to strengthen the Dicobu’s vision of helping the youth for development.
