This Sunday, August 14, 2022, in the Tropitel Hotel in Gitega, the PAX Burundi Foundation held a press conference to inform the public of their achievements and future prospects. Niyonkuru Domitien, Vice President of the Pax Burundi Foundation indicated the main achievements including
-The creation of soccer clubs Aigle Noir CS and Tigre Noir Warriors,
-The creation of a basketball team,
-The creation of the Eagle sport radio,
-The construction of the Nkurunziza Peace Park Complex stadium,
-Establishment of a drinking water production industry, Eagle Mineral Water,
– The launching of the agricultural project with more than 30 ha exploited,
-Establishment of the Lake Tanganyika Cup which opposes the countries of the Region,
-Initiation of the Nkurunziza Cup,
-Creation of an athletics club,
-Birth of the women branch of Aigle Noir in Kirundo, etc.
As for the future prospects, the Foundation intends :
-To complete the construction of the business center hotel under construction in Makamba,
-Construction of a conference room in Makamba with a capacity of 1200 people,
-Creation of a sports center in Dodoma in Tanzania to house the Black Eagle Academy,
-The Tanzanian channel Azam TV will rebroadcast Black Eagle matches,
-Support the educational sector with classrooms to be erected at the Muyebe High School in Bubanza province, etc.
