In a press release by the Burundian embassy in Russia this Tuesday 1 March 2022, the Burundian community living in Russia and its neighboring countries received a message of encouragement in these moments of uncertainty following the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
On behalf of Burundian government, the Ambassador indicated that authorities of the country follow closely the evolution of the situation and reassured this community, inviting them to keep serene, specifying that a synergy of Burundian embassies in Europe is essential to assist the Burundian citizens in Ukraine.
He concluded his message by encouraging them to keep in touch with the embassy which, if necessary, can give guidance on the attitude to take and what to do.
