The Football National Team of Djibouti for women has just landed in Bujumbura, to take part in the qualifiers of the African Cup pf Nations 2022 for women. They will face the Burundi National Team of women in the contest for taking part in women’s African Cup of Nations 2022. This is a two-leg meeting. The decision to play both games in Burundi may have been a result of the request made by Djibouti due to bad conditions of their stadium.
The first leg is scheduled for this Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Urukundo stadium in Ngozi province. The game will start at 3 pm, local time. The second leg will take place on February 21, 2022 at the same stadium and same hour. A win in the two matches would allow the Burundi National Team of women to participate in this competition for the first time, reason why expectations are high from supporters.
