The U-17 branch of the Burundian national team of football, Intamba mu Rugamba, have lost their first game in the 2022 cecafa competition.
It was this sunday, september 3, 2022, when they played their first game of the Cecafa Afcon zonal qualifiers against Uganda. As a reminder, the competition is taking place in Ethiopia.
The game was very tough as the Burundian team saw no chance to score. The Ugandan team proved hard to manage despite the Burundian young players displaying a good game.
The game ended with a heavy win of 4-0 in favour of Uganda. The second game is scheduled on sunday, october 9, 2022, against South Sudan.
