Tuesday, March 8,2022 marked the Women’s International Day. In the ceremonies related to this event which took place in Rumonge province at the national level, the minister of solidarity, Imelde SABUSHIMIKE, awarded the female branch of the National team of football who qualified for the first time for the African Cup of Nations.
The objective was to encourage and motivate them for the CAN 2022 scheduled for July 2022.
The President of the Republic, Evariste Ndayishimiye, together with the First Lady, Angeline Ndayishimiye and other high authorities such as the general secretary of CNDD-FDD, Révérien Ndikuriyo who has been also the president of the Burundi Football Federation, the current president of the Federation, etc.
