In recent days, Indundi TV has been working hard to avail information and answer all inquiries about the Dicobu Music Award and Miss Burundi USA 2022 events. With one day left for the winners to be proclaimed, we consider probable winners and look at how preparations are going on.
Remembering that the publication of the results is scheduled for this 28 May 2022, who is leading the competition as voters continue to cast their votes? With regard to Dicobu Music Award, Aime M is leading the voting process with his song Care for you, and has registered 511 voices. The second place is now occupied by Don Bright with 371 votes. This is a promising young Burundian in the diaspora and his song Ubumwe is attracting voters for this young Burundian artist.
We should remember that Bright has attracted the attention of music supporters as he recently organised a lovely concert which saw the participation of Ingenior Pasteur Bagenzi, Indundi Magazine’s Chief Executive Officer.
In the third place, we have Young Spit who still has 239 voices while Paterne HP has 12 voices and Desire NZIZA who has 11 votes. Mt Number one is yet to register a vote so far. The same situation applies to Daddy Face and Cocoda who are yet to see a vote on their account.
On the side of Miss Burundi USA 2022, Joyeuse Niyokwizera is leading with 316 votes while Léa Ndayishimiye who comes second has registered 258 votes. Claire Kanyana has 241 votes in the third place while the fourth, Emmilienne Yope has won 215 votes. The following is Jacqueline Maombi with 132, Elina Niyimpaye has 47 votes, Viviane Sinzoyiba has 28 and Imani Estera has registered only one vote. Note that these votes represent 20% of the the whole mark while 80% will be awarded by the pannel on the Day, tomorrow in Memphis-Tenessee, USA.
On that occasion, the music legend Kaka Bonney will be the guest of honour to perform as the special artist during the awarding ceremony. What about the awards? Compared to local competitions, Dicobu awards are more interesting and important in the sense that it helps singers work satisfied without complaint.
The Miss Burundi USA will get a Hundai-branded car estimated at 28 thousand US dollars, an equivalent of about 84 million burundian francs. As for the Artist of the year, there will be a Nissan-branded car valued at 35100 US dollars, representing approximately 105 million burundian francs.
