Anny Cynthia Habonimana, is a Burundian currently living in the United States. Her intelligence and integrity allowed her to take part in the competition of beautiful African girls living in Arizona.
The proclamation of the laureate took place this Sunday, April 10, 2022. Anny Cynthia was competing with other girls from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Sierra Leone. Even if she was not lucky enough to take the first place, she says she is satisfied to have realized her dreams which was to present and represent the Burundian culture.
Since her arrival in the United States, Anny Cynthia had always wanted this opportunity to show the cultural wealth of Burundi. In an interview with Indundi Radio , Cynthia called on Burundian youth, especially young girls, to wake up, not to isolate themselves and to exploit their talents.
Remember the first place was won by a Ghanaian while the second place went to Sierra Leone.
